Supporting Local Residents After Hurricane Milton
When disaster strikes, coming together as a community makes all the difference. After Hurricane Milton devastated the Clearwater area, many local residents found themselves displaced and without basic necessities. At one apartment building, over 500 people were rescued and evacuated as flooding destroyed their homes.
In response, Teamwork Commerce stepped in to lend a helping hand. We donated diapers, toiletries, and backpacks to support those affected by this tragedy, providing essential items to help them begin to rebuild their lives.
At Teamwork Commerce, we understand the importance of giving back, especially in times of need. We are proud to support our community and stand by our neighbors as they recover from this challenging event.
Together, we can weather any storm.

The holiday season is a time of giving, and at Teamwork Commerce, we believe in supporting the communities we call home. This year, our teams came together to make a difference in the lives of others.

Mexico Team: In Querétaro, the Mexico team prepared and delivered 100 Christmas meals to two local hospitals, bringing warmth and nourishment to those in need during the festive season.

London Team: In the UK, the London team donated essential food items to the Euston Food Bank, helping families facing food insecurity find some relief during the holidays.

Clearwater Team: In the U.S., the Clearwater team joined forces with Toys for Tots, donating toys and volunteering their time to ensure children in the community experience the magic of the season.
At Teamwork Commerce, we recognize how fortunate we are and are committed to giving back. These initiatives are just one way we show gratitude and spread joy during the holidays. Together, we can make a meaningful impact, one act of kindness at a time.

Teamwork Commerce Donates 125 Backpacks to Pinellas County Schools for Back-to-School Support
Teamwork Commerce is proud to support our community by donating backpacks to five local Title 1 schools in Pinellas County, just in time for the first day of school on August 12th. Each school—Eisenhower Elementary, Skycrest Elementary, Belcher Elementary, Sandy Lane Elementary, and Oak Grove Middle School—received five boxes of Teamwork Commerce backpacks, totaling 125 backpacks, to help students kick off the school year with the supplies they need. We are committed to giving back to the Clearwater area and ensuring students are prepared for a successful academic year.

Celebrating Children’s Day with Love and Laughter: A Visit to Casa Hogar Esperanza Para Ti
On Children’s Day, Teamwork visited Casa Hogar Esperanza Para Ti, an orphanage in Queretaro, Mexico, home to 29 children of various ages. Our team showed love and support, filling the children’s hearts with joy as part of the “Donando Sonrisas a Niñas y Niños” (Donating Smiles to Kids) initiative. The event featured pizza, gift distribution, games, and drone photo displays. Nine Teamwork employees visited the orphanage, while 20 others contributed their time, money, or gifts, ensuring each child received a special gift. We are thrilled to give back to our community and share our good fortune

Building Dreams: Teamwork Commerce Partners with Habitat for Humanity
At Teamwork Commerce, we believe in the power of collaboration and community support. That’s why we’re excited to share our recent partnership with Habitat for Humanity during National Volunteer Week. On Saturday, April 20th, our team had the privilege of joining forces with Habitat for Humanity to help finalize two new homes for families in need in the Pinellas County area.
One of the families we had the honor of supporting is Denise Cookinson and her 12-year-old son, Grayson. Denise’s journey with Habitat for Humanity is a testament to the transformative impact of stable housing. She shared, “My life now will be greater, and I will be achieving more goals, knowing that I have stability not only in a house but in a home.”
This sentiment resonates deeply with us at Teamwork Commerce. We believe that everyone deserves a safe and stable place to call home, and we’re proud to be part of initiatives that make that dream a reality.
Another family we are privileged to assist is Ashley Skelton, a single mother of three children, on her journey towards homeownership with Habitat for Humanity. Ashley dreams of having a home where her family can enjoy activities together without worrying about safety or privacy. She emphasized the importance of community support, saying, “Habitat has been such a blessing, and the staff is phenomenal.”
Each family who partners with Habitat completes a certain number of hours of sweat equity — typically between 200 and 400 — before move-in day. Often, any adult member can contribute to this total; sometimes volunteers can also help out. Each Teamwork Commerce volunteer donated their “sweat equity” from the day to the recipients of Habitat for Humanity.
Our partnership with Habitat for Humanity reflects our commitment to social impact and community building. We believe that by working together, we can create lasting change and help families build brighter futures.

We chose this project for Teamwork Cares because housing is a basic human need and stable housing provides a foundation for individuals and families to build their lives. It supports education, employment, and community engagement, leading to long-term stability and prosperity.
