What are the opportunities and challenges of creating this kind of ecosystem in another country, like Australia?
Satish Kala and Sai Hari, both Application Specialists, are the first two Teamwork Commerce employees in our Australian office and join us to discuss about customer experiences and omnichannel retailing. Both Satish and Sai have been part of the Teamwork Commerce family for about 5 months, onboarding new Australian clients and cultivating those new relationships to drive business growth and long-term success of the company.
Overview
Frictionless commerce and seamless retail experiences are very important to creating a successful customer journey. Satish’s and Sai’s prior backgrounds and work experiences have helped them in their current positions at Teamwork Commerce to support clients accelerating seamless omnichannel retail, developing the product in our pipeline, understanding the clients’ needs and challenges and effectively help them transition from a different POS and/or OMS platform. Their insider intelligence has helped them to be a bridge between the development team and the customer.
Satish and Sai feel that the growth and success of Teamwork Commerce in the US market will be mirrored in the Australia market, European, Latin America, among others. In-store and online shopping is very popular there, especially on holidays such as Black Friday and Boxing Day. Teamwork has a strong product and offers several value proposition features that are new to Australian retailers and from which they can benefit: mobile POS, cloud services, inventory management and offline transactions. Trends in Australia include digital commerce, omnichannel experiences, customer-centric and various “buy now pay later” payment methods such as Afterpay and Zip Pay, especially with young people.
