Teamwork Commerce volunteers recently took part in a local Pack-A-Snack event, held at HOB Brewing Company, where they donated snacks and assembled them into care bags for children in need throughout the community.
Fighting weekend food insecurity
The Pack-A-Snack program helps combat weekend food insecurity by providing nutritious, pre-packaged snacks to students who may not have reliable access to food at home. Local schools identify the children who need support the most, so each student gets a bag of healthy snacks every Friday before heading into the weekend. It's a small effort that makes a big impact for kids who rely on these meals.
